I have mixed feelings about 2Ps... I was an exclusive 2Ps shopper (loving their sales and $50 freeship) before finding ACOT and then split it about 50/50 depending on availability of product - like Freckled Fawn. However, in all those years, I only ever got on the boards a couple of times...Not really that active on boards anyway but never got a reply to simple questions except for a smart-ass one once. I had heard about the nasty drama over there - actually from one of those nasty Scrapping BitchFest Blogs (which I left after one night of reading because those people are atrocious and I would never have thought scrapbookers could be that! But on the bright side, that's how I found out about Shimelle classes!). Anyway, I took a couple of workshops/classes I really liked (not indefinite access afterall!). Then...starting around the first of the year their turn-around went from 3 days order-to- receipt to over a week order-to- ship! Then they got rid of their customer-service 'ticket' system to go to 'email us' (which I did for 3-months straight regarding defective merchandise with never one.single.word. in reply). So while the shipping made me pretty much an exclusive ACOT shopper, the cs clinched it. Then this month I decided I was going to pick up some of the 'exclusive' products (wood & flair made exclusively for 2Ps by Freckled Fawn I think)... it was in my cart to pay when I placed my ACOT regular order on the first of the month - but of course all that product is gone.gone.gone! Then this entire closing has been handled extremely rudely in my opinion - like the closing of the boards without notice, etc. So...  On the other hand, I hate to see another scrapbooking supplier bite the dust - they seem to be dropping like flies. Also, I too was addicted to their YT channel - everyday a different series especially GLITTER GIRL!!! who has completely transformed my scrappy mindset over the past couple of years (never ever missed a single one!) Thus, I am extremely concerned about Glitter Girl/Shimelle as I know that she was an employee/contractor and she has a new baby at home.  Oh No!!! what am I going to watch on Wednesday & Sunday nights now???!!! She has a line coming out with Crate Paper so it looks like she's finally designing full lines, I am so happy for her. It was up for pre-order here with images but they pulled it...probably was up too soon, I think. I placed an order with 2peas today for their two exclusive sets, one specifically because it was designed by Shimelle and I wanted to have it.  |

The only few times I went to Peas all I saw was drama. I never felt welcome at all. I do hope this group stays as we have been for a long time, fun, friendly and, drama free. I too hate seeing a business close they have been around for 15+ years.

She has a line coming out with Crate Paper so it looks like she's finally designing full lines, I am so happy for her. I placed an order with 2peas today for their two exclusive sets, one specifically because it was designed by Shimelle and I wanted to have it. Ooooh Ooooh Ooooh I know - it's from American Crafts! It was originally slated for May but when I chatted with them they said it had been pushed back a bit - I'm sooooooo excited!!!! (Okay maybe a little too excited.) Yes I have that set of stamps too. I really like it as it works for so many of my layouts! It's too bad that was a 2Ps exclusive so more people could check it out. Anyway, I hope that she can keep the GG videos online to refer back to as well as create new ones in future! Honestly, she's great - great personality and great classes. I hit a serious slump/pit a few years ago and if it hadn't been for taking some of her classes and finding my groove, ACOT would probably not get all my bill money each month! |

My sole interest in 2P has been their YouTube channel. I could usually find products elsewhere, so I had no need to shop there. I'm already feeling the loss because it's Wednesday night and there is apparently no Glitter Girl video tonight. I have seen that most of those videos are on Shimelle's personal channel, so not all hope is lost.
I'm trying to create comfort by thinking that maybe ACOT, or another appreciated site, will find a way to fill that void.

I figured out how to download the classes to my own computer. I use Chrome as my browser. I downloaded Video Downloader Professional as a plug in at the app store for Chrome. I installed it, and it's so easy! Go to the page that the video is on, start the video playback, and click the icon next to your address bar ( it looks like a reel of film), it opens the widget and then you push the green download button. It will then record the video as it plays and it keeps the file on your harddrive.

I belonged to 2P's and was on their MB's. I left when they had a rukus - floundered around for a while until I found ACOT on NSD 2013.
I used to put things in my bucket and by the time I had enough to order, many of my items were Sold Out. That really frustrated me. I like it here at ACOT. I love shopping at ACOT.
I am sorry to see a popular online store go out of business and I feel bad for the people on the message boards. Hope they all find a friendly new home.

I will miss the For Sale or Trade Forum the most. It was a great place to find things and to sell things. It was very active. Though, it was getting very Studio Calico oriented.

I am just scared for the future of our hobby! 2peas--Archivers--tons of magazines-- there used to be so much out there and now not much at all. Who will the companies sell their new products to? I think I did peas maybe twice but definitely was not a welcoming board.

I feel bad for the people who use their site to submit their work and shop there. Personally, I do not care for them. Yes, they have a lot to offer, merchandise-wise. But the two occasions I shopped there were bad experiences. Over two weeks to receive my orders, and when I contacted them to inquire, they were not very friendly!
