I keep telling myself as soon as my job becomes less stressful I will start walking again. Since a co-worked is going out on medical leave for 8 weeks starting tomorrow and I need to back her up, I guess my stress level isn't going to lessen anytime soon! A brisk walk will help relieve some of that stress!

I do have orders just today from my doc to use my treadmill! My weight has only dropped 2 lbs since last visit (3 mons.) My sugar is still a bit high and my cholesterol came down a bit but not enough. Sooo, I'll try to join you all with this. I am at the moment healing from a pulled muscle in my calf last week so I'll have to start off slow. I do have a Wii also but haven't turned in on in so long. Maybe I can get some exercise with it that will help me stretch out some. So, count me in.

I got a fitbit that I love and have taking up jogging. I'm down two sizes since around March so I'll definitely participate in a thread.

Weigh-in day this morning and I've lost another 4 lbs.! Wahoo! I don't normally lose that much in a week but it's been extremely busy with 5 of the grandkids here all week. DD has been sick so I've been keeping the kids.

Even some light exercise might help alleviate some stress. I know time is always a factor for people but even a 10 minute speed walk may help keep some stress levels down a bit??? Give you a chance to "walk away" and breathe.

Don't do what I did, wait until moving for exercise is almost impossible. With my knée needing replaced and my mind not readying to do that yet I am left with dieting only. I knew if I didn't diet the inactivity would add pounds fast. I have lost 15 pounds since January.

I need to exercise more too. I started over 2 weeks ago using my elliptical again. I have been aiming for 3 hours a week - hit it the first week but was under last week. This week I should go over it - if I use it tomorrow.
I had a rough year - fractured my foot last June and was in a cast and then a Velcro cast for more than 3 months! Even after that I had to be very careful. My foot doc said it would take at last a year to completely heal. The bone was one with a tendon attached to it that goes to the ankle.

I need to, I just don't have the time to. I want to get in better shape after having the baby but now that I have to be at work all day, I have a really hard time taking the time when I get home to exercise because I want to spend as much time with him and my other kids as possible. And once the baby goes down for the night, so do I.
