I have a few days of intense pain, followed by 3 days of sickness caused by a messed up prescription (a different brand of he same medicine does not necessarily the original medicine equal. Some don't work as well, some barely work at all for some people. This is what happened to me. Sickness on top of uncontrolled pain. SO not fun.) and returned to see that aliens have abducted the ACOT forum and are now running it from some strange blue and white planet...or perhaps I've been hit on the head with a coconut and have listserve amnesia? Everything is different! Oh my! What happened and where are all my messages from my inbox, because I had my secret sister info in there, among other things, that I can't get to. Is the gallery still intact? And are there new rules for getting points? Thanks for the help! I'm freaked out!

Ack! And I'm back to being a new member with my message tally gone and a scary weird grey head where my avatar was. Have I entered another dimension? Are our profiles still hiding somewhere? Thanks!

Hi! Sorry you weren't feeling well! Read up on some of the other threads to catch up on what happened... You have to make a new profile that is separate from the rest of the ACOT Site and I noticed that you have to sign in almost every time now... and there was this message from the great one about the PM'S. "yesterday at 3:00pm Echo said: You can view your old PMs here: www.acherryontop.com/view_old_pms Note, that is a very, very simplistic view. It does not show any styling or images that are in the PMs. But it does give you simple access to it." |

So sorry to hear your are sick. I laughed at your post because the avatars do look like aliens. Crazy stuff happening. I'm just flying by the seat of my pants and asking questions as I go. As usual the cherries help me with navigating. I'm technically challenged, lol.
I do miss seeing our cherry names. Some people had to change their user names due to this board not taking spaces or symbols ( I think that is correct) so I'm lost because I don't remember a lot of the cherries first names. I always went by their message board name  |

This is only temporary - the normal ACOT Message board is down for repair. The store & Gallery are fine. No points for posting here. Challenge sections are in Gallery, some in threads here. MMC for the week still happening.
Sorry you're sick (& for the why) - that sucks!

Sorry you've been sick. Hope you are better soon. And, no, there aren't any aliens! lol, though I thought these original avatars look like aliens!

So first off - NO all prescription are not the same especially when dealing with different generics... yes, I too have complained because i had to learn the name of the generic that works and ask pharmacies world wide if they carried it before turning over my scrip. Pain meds are tenuous. And now the FDA has started messing with them (for our own good!) so that they don't work half as well and now not only is my liver in trouble, I'm killing my kidneys with filler for break-thru pain. And then after weeks of going through a very similar spell in bed with OMG I HURT SO FRIGGING BAD WHY DON'T MY MEDS ACTUALLY WORK? ??, I get on line to find that my world is utterly upside down. All things are weird and I too was an alien but now I'm just whoever (or whatever) I feel like rather than what I actually look like! That being said (basically, that I can feel for you on soooo many levels), am thankful that ACOT loves us enough to give us 'backup forum' for the time that our regular message board has been interrupted. YAY ACOT WE LOVE YOU! |

I fixed my scary alien avatar, so now everyone can see me. Of course that's not a pic from today, but that's me! When is the old board coming back? Any ideas? Does the gallery still give points? Do we still have a gallery? We must since I'm still seeing layout pics by some of the items. Will we still get points for posting when it comes back? How many questions *can* I bombard you guys with in a row? I have a hard enough time finding the envie swap thread each month on the regular board, I hope I can find it here. I was SO sad that I missed it this month, too.  It's my favorite thing next to Secret Sister-ing! I love making up little packages for my crafting pals.  |
