Good morning ladies. I had a migraine this morning but took meds and feeling better. My youngest is still in school but I let her stay home today. We had a late night due to a 50th birthday party last night. Who throws a party on a Monday night....oh yeah that's right my husband's family Anyways...my daughter has two more days left and then our summer can begin.
What are your plans for today? I have a long list to do tonight after dinner. Sometimes lists make me feel better and sometimes they just stress me out. Maybe I will throw my list away just to make my headache go away faster, lol.
How about you? Do you make lists and do you ever get stressed over it?

Glad you are feeling better Lori. I took woke up with a headache - sinus pain/pressure. I've had it off/on since Saturday but it was really bad yesterday/last night.
But after meds, coffee and breakfast, I can breathe and feeling much much better!
I'll be working today, but I want to work on the MMC challenges.
And yes, I do tend to make lists when I feel overwhelmed or stressed out because there is "too much to do and such little time". Making a list helps me put things in perspective and figure out what needs to be done NOW and what can wait 'til later.

Nothing personal.

I at all the time I've definitely added things just to cross them out. I was feeling very overwhelmed and stressed so I decided to try something new, I'm writing down one or two things to get done everyday, doing them and then not stressing about everything that isn't done. Today it's calling to order or cake and buying wedding shoes.

Sorry about your migraine-they are the worst! I had an early DDS appt to get a crown put on from a root canal. I'm done for the year now! My DS is out for summer and DD still has school this week so we are in a weird limbo. I have 2 manuscripts that need to be copy edited by next week and I just don't want to do any of it lol. I just want to work on challenges!

Lori - glad you are feeling better!
Today is day one of days off. I keep thinking it's Wednesday and that I had yesterday off, so good for me. Better that way than to think I still have another day off when I don't.
I've cleaned up the kitchen and family room this morning. I just need to clean the downstairs bathroom and do some dusting in the living room and dining room. I've got laundry to do and my master bed/bath to pick up. Still have paperwork to sort and shred.
It looks like I'll be running to Wally's to get a universal remote. We downgraded our cable and we're saving $150/month - but had to turn in the cable remotes and the tv remote is finicky.
I'm going to work on some layouts and challenges later.

I have to make lists just so I don't forget what I should/need to be doing. I was always told the first thing you write on your list is.....Make a list. Then once your list is made you get to cross that off. It's a mind game but it works for me. I also don't stress over it either. If someting doesn't get done, it goes on tomorrow's list BTW Lori - I will be in Hartford next week (Mon-Wed) for work

Good morning all; I'm very sad today. I'm taking Little One into the vet for an evaluation about whether it is his time. He is showing such signs of dementia, at least I believe that is what is going on. He has trouble walking but wanders about aimlessly, steps or climbs on the other dogs (which they do NOT like) as if they were furniture, refuses his ball and toys, started going potty all over the house, doesn't interact with any of us any more, etc. I don't know what to do but I am hoping the vet has help for us. He is currently on medication for seizures and for pain in his joints, and prednisone every other day for his PLE. But the last year has really been hard on him, especially the last few months.

Good afternoon! I am teaching crafts all this week at our church's vacation Bible school. Day two done, 3 more to go! We had close to 80 kids today, but I only did crafts with about 60, spread into 3 classes. Fun, but tiring!
I make lists, and often lose them before I get everything crossed off! Then, I'll write a new one and leave stuff off of it or have so much more to add. lol.
Anyway. Finishing up a late lunch then hoping to scrap a little!

Kids still in school? Do you have school year round? Mine have been out for a couple of weeks now, and they were one of the earlier schools around here to let out. Michigan has this stupid law that schools that receive public funding (ie public schools and charter schools) can't start until after Labor DAy.....the state's attempt to capture the all-might tourism dollar. I'd rather do my trips earlier in the summer...too busy later! lol
We are camping....first trips with the kids. Two of the kids didn't want to come though, and the oldest one at home had to work, so we have the youngest, plus my 18 yr old and her boyfriend. They have had the greatest attitude...they have to sleep in a tent because the trailer really only holds Bob and me, and it's rained quite a bit, but they're having fun. If they can have fun when they are the ones getting wet, who am I to complain? lol
Work tomorrow night (Bob has been working every day this week....we are camping only 40 miles from home so it is doable to commute), then off one, then work 3, off 1, and work 2. I hate holidays...they wreak such havoc on my nice work schedule! lol

We are a week late in school because of all the snow days we had this past winter. Also we start school after labor day.
Great that Bob can work and camp at the same time. Must be relaxing coming back to the camper after work. Have fun.
