Well I have to apologize to all the Cherries that entered my May/June Graphic Design challenge as I did not have a chance before the wedding to comment and leave love on any of your wonderful submissions! Two months worth of submissions and this is what I was going to do now that the wedding is over and the grandkiddies went home. Geeze now I have no access to any of them. That goes for my June Music Challenge too. I did not have a gallery position set up for them either, although not everyone posts to the gallery spot anyway so I would not have them all. I sure hope we all get to go "home" soon! Huh? The Gallery still works, doesn't it? I see entries submitted today. Yes but I didn't have a spot in the gallery for them, and my graphic design challenge alone has almost two months worth of entries. I don't want to miss any of them so I am waiting to hopefully have access to my original threads.

Well, if the old board doesn't come back by the end of the month it'll be too late, but if you set it up now, and alert people in a Challenge thread here, then they can still post to that Gallery section & all's good.

I stopped making gallery spots for mine because I would find some in the gallery that weren't in the thread and some in the thread that weren't in the gallery. For me it was easier to just keep them all in the thread. Well so much for that idea. I know, but I think that is up to the people entering the challenge...if they can't get it in the gallery spot, then I just don't count it. Guess that is the mean "teacher" in me. I like it when people can follow the rules. Of course, everyone needs to be aware of the gallery glitch that removes your checkmarks for challenges from a layout when they edit the layout. Another 2ยข - it does make it more difficult/time consuming to require posting submissions in a forum thread. I know I have forgotten that step at least once and then my entry wasn't counted. I spend a lot of time with my Gallery submission, using key words, linking products in the store, etc. I have to make a serious effort to remind myself that when I'm done, I'm still not done. Especially if I'm submitting several at the close of the month (which I try not to do, but, you know, life!). Then there's the people who can't figure out how to post a photo in the thread too... & if they don't link it I know that adds extra effort when the hostess wants to leave love.

I for one like seeing all the entries in all the threads, sometimes it's more inspiring with descriptions and combinations than just looking in the gallery. but yes for this new board challenge entries would be simpler for all to just have a gallery spot, as the gallery still works like it always had. I see lot of girls are doing that for their June ones and I will for the Old is New too. Anyone who cannot stand this new board can just make a gallery spot for their existing challenge and leave it up to the rest of us to enter there without posting in any thread at all. I just hope we can get the old board back.

I am hoping we get our old board back. I have faith in Brandon and am going to hold out for a while.

It is actually easier for me also to go through them all in the thread and leave everyone love, and at the same time list my participants. It took more time to then go through the gallery spot to check and find some in there that weren't in the thread, so I just stopped making a gallery spot for them. It worked well for me. Until now that is lol. And yes I hope we get the old board back too! Brandon rocks, so I have faith!!

For the Washi Challenge, I am not going to repost it as I don't have it saved. I did not make a paper list of those who already submitted LOs, so I'm not sure what to do at this point. If the old board comes back, I am thinking about stretching it into July or maybe even the entire month of July. It all depends. I am very frustrated at this point and am not sure I will be posting anymore, which saddens me because I will miss everyone a lot. But for me the added stress is not worth it. How am I supposed to talk to you? I'm going to have Mildred withdrawls. I don't have facebook either....oh wait I have your address from when you were my secret sister. If all else fails I still have snail mail I will stalk you!!

Is it necessary for me to post my all my challenge layouts to here or will the old message board still be available?

Yikes, I didn't know that editing removes your checkmarks! That stinks! I agree that putting them in the gallery AND the thread can be cumbersome, but I prefer them being in the gallery to comment. The threads are just too strung out with chatter etc. and they take too long to comment there. Even though the gallery 'moves' slower than the threads, I am one who will only comment in the gallery. Therefore, I vote to have every challenge listed in the gallery (like I have a vote, LOL).....I will still put them in the thread, but it is discouraging to know that I am sitting here right now with 5 finished layouts and a card, and only ONE of them is now on the new message board.

Yep, that is a glitch we rediscovered with the last MMC challenges...if you edit you need to go back and recheck your challenges. I had asked Brandon if it could be fixed right before the old board went down, so I'm sure that is the last thing on his mind now.

HELP There is a check box for the Snooze You Lose challenge in the gallery loading area......I loaded mine there yesterday. There is not a thread for it currently.

I can repost mine too. If anyone already submitted a layout, please repost that too because I don't have a list of who has participated. Please and thank you!

I reposted mine, because I had a gallery spot set for it. That might be the way to go in the future...being able to set up a gallery spot is so easy and then when you want to know what a challenge is, it is right there in the gallery to click on! As for the previous June entries, I am going to be optimistic and hope that Brandon has the old board fixed before the beginning of July! I stopped making gallery spots for mine because I would find some in the gallery that weren't in the thread and some in the thread that weren't in the gallery. For me it was easier to just keep them all in the thread. Well so much for that idea. Likewise! :-(
