Well I'm sure glad I procrastinated doing the June challenges. I haven't done any so it should be easy to just post in one place. Thanks Kim on your explanation on posting images here. I totally understood when you said the word thingy

Does anyone know how to edit posts once you hit submit?

Does anyone know how to edit posts once you hit submit? You should find an edit button on the upper right of your screen.

What a really good question. At this time we'll ask you to treat this like "home" and you're welcome to post the challenges here. We are not really sure how long the boards are going to be like this. It may be a week or a few weeks. Please post as normal on the new boards. Thanks! Can I put in my two cents that this sucks? I mean that as I would say to "family" - but this is GODAWFUL.

Well I have to apologize to all the Cherries that entered my May/June Graphic Design challenge as I did not have a chance before the wedding to comment and leave love on any of your wonderful submissions! Two months worth of submissions and this is what I was going to do now that the wedding is over and the grandkiddies went home. Geeze now I have no access to any of them. That goes for my June Music Challenge too. I did not have a gallery position set up for them either, although not everyone posts to the gallery spot anyway so I would not have them all. I sure hope we all get to go "home" soon!

I don't have any of the copy for my challenges. I guess I just always assumed I'd have access to the boards. Anyway, my Graphic Design Challenge covers TWO months, and I had a lot of entries, so I am so undecided how to handle this. I could post my music challenge again, I'll have to see what I am going to do. I'd hate to miss anyone who participated!

For the Washi Challenge, I am not going to repost it as I don't have it saved. I did not make a paper list of those who already submitted LOs, so I'm not sure what to do at this point. If the old board comes back, I am thinking about stretching it into July or maybe even the entire month of July. It all depends. I am very frustrated at this point and am not sure I will be posting anymore, which saddens me because I will miss everyone a lot. But for me the added stress is not worth it.

I don't know what to do about my challenges either Mildred. I have nothing on either of them. But please hold on and hope we get our old board back! I will miss you too much! I wonder why it is going to take weeks to get it back?

I reposted mine, because I had a gallery spot set for it. That might be the way to go in the future...being able to set up a gallery spot is so easy and then when you want to know what a challenge is, it is right there in the gallery to click on! As for the previous June entries, I am going to be optimistic and hope that Brandon has the old board fixed before the beginning of July!

I stopped making gallery spots for mine because I would find some in the gallery that weren't in the thread and some in the thread that weren't in the gallery. For me it was easier to just keep them all in the thread. Well so much for that idea.

I sure hope we all get to go "home" soon! Huh? The Gallery still works, doesn't it? I see entries submitted today. This is what I was going to suggest - hostesses can still set up their June Challenges in the Gallery!! (Do remember to set the deadline a day *after* you want it to close, though) It's a bit of a pain but people can easily edit their submissions and check the appropriate box. I much prefer doing it that way anyway. It's a *lot* easier to look at other submissions than scrolling a thread with a bunch of text and quotes of the same layouts repeated. I mean, some people want that, obviously, but if you *just* want to look at other submissions for a challenge - they need to be in a special Gallery section. And like Laura does for the MMC as hostesses you can certainly specify that submissions need to be there to be counted - like any other rule you want to have.

Actually, Brandon fixed the glitch that had it closing at midnight the day of, I believe. At least I set my MMC challenges to end on the day and they ended that night at midnight.

I know, but I think that is up to the people entering the challenge...if they can't get it in the gallery spot, then I just don't count it. Guess that is the mean "teacher" in me. I like it when people can follow the rules. Of course, everyone needs to be aware of the gallery glitch that removes your checkmarks for challenges from a layout when they edit the layout.
