Hi girls! I am having a really bad day with my fibromyalgia I just want to curl up in a corner but I know that will not help any and I am trying to fight letting it get to me like that. I am a strong person and have lived with chronic back pain for 13 years but this fibromyalgia is worst than that cause it makes me ache all over. I just took two pain pills so hopefully I feel better soon. I am going to scrap today after the pain goes away and I give Sophie a bath. I hate that I am 47 and have to depend on pain pills to make it through life but I am so grateful for them. Otherwise I would not be able to continue living. The pain is that bad. I am also grateful for all of you all and that I have a place I can talk about this without being judged. I am also grateful for my dh who understands and can see how much pain I am in some days. I was able to get seven layouts done this weekend using all older product! Felt good to put that money I spent on it to use! I'm so sorry Janet. My mother in law has fibromyalgia and its sad to see her in pain, so I'm aware how painful it is, even though I cannot understand the pain itself. hope you are feeling better now. On a happy note, WTG on using older products and your layout this weekend! That is so awesome! I love it when I do that! Brandy it it is a very odd pain. Hard to describe but you feel like your whole body is aching and you just want to curl up in a dark hole. It is also the reason I get sick when I fly. I have to arrive somewhere a day early for my stomach to settle and for me to relax. We are flying into Texas a day early for our cruise so I can relax and enjoy our first day on the ship. I am still in pain I had an awful nights sleep which does not help.i also need to slow down and relax a bit when I am home but for some reason I have been in overdrive and can not seem to sit for more then five minutes. My dh says I am like a jack n the box. Always spring up unexpectedly. I do have a doctor appointment at the end of the month so hopefully she can help me.

So I made a quick card for a 50th birthday party yesterday that I had to go to last night. I used the Pinterest challenge for inspiration and used a card I had pinned on my board. Wouldn't you know it I didn't have time to take a photo before I had to leave. Does that ever happen to you? Doing a challenge and never getting to take a photo and uploading it? Oh well I guess I will do it again....not so bad, it will keep me scrapping right?

Thank you Barb!! I am sorry for your daughter to. How awful to be in so much pain you can't hold your precious newborn. I hope she is doing ok now. Does she take meds for it? My doc was going to give me the fibro meds but I refused them cause of the fact that I have to take pain meds for my back so I told her as long as those work for all my pain I would just take them. Today is the first day they have not worked. She was on methotrexate for years and that helped to put her in remission, but you can't take that once you are pregnant. Interestingly pregnancy itself puts the RA in remission, but after you give birth it comes back with a vengeance, which it did for her. She had to take steroids and went on the Humira shots for a while. She didn't take methotrexate after that because the dr said if she had any chance of getting pregnant at all metho is out. She gets by with taking a steroid pill or two when she gets really bad. When Aiden was born she was nursing and that kept it in remission. She saw her dr before she stopped nursing and then afterwards went on another shot, something like Humira but it is a newer one. Right now she isn't on the shot. She does okay, but lives with it everyday. She (and my ds) both tell me when the weather is going to be bad. One time they both said they felt like a hurricane was coming. Breaks my heart to see both of them have to deal with so much pain and discomfort. At the wedding she never did wear her shoes, as she couldn't stand in them due to the pain in her ankles. I had bought her a pair of dressy sandals to change into after the ceremony, and she just ended up wearing those the whole time. You couldn't really tell with her gown anyway. I hope you are feeling better today.

I'm glad scrapbooking helps keep your mind busy. With chronic pain it takes over your body, life and mind. It's good to have an outlet.
