Laura I will be happy with whatever you are comfortable doing. I missed the last MMC due to preparing for my dd's wedding, and look forward to being able to participate in the next one. I will be here if you decide to do it, but I also certainly understand if you decide to wait until we are "home", which I hope will be soon!

I'm with Sher - this board is impossible and I am up in arms with it too. I was able to get activated, but now to figure out how to link things for the challenges is going to be a huge challenge. I'm not going to go around hunting for things, so I will just wait until the old board comes back (keeping my fingers crossed that it does). As for the Washi Challenge, I am not going to repost it as I don't have it saved. I did not make a paper list of those who already submitted LOs, so I'm not sure what to do at this point. So off I go to scrap in silence and now chatting for me  |

I WANT to participate and will try if you decide to forge ahead, but not sure I can - and it has nothing to do with the new board, just with my scheduling and responsibilities.

If this is going to be the new forum - I'm done. I'm so frustrated. I was going to do challenges, and now to heck with it. WHY??? I am the same way with my work IT people. Newer is NOT always better. This is a perfect example. Sorry, but I'm not going to participate in squat and sign as a "New member" reading stupid photos of house numbers and codes I have to refresh each time I want to post. Not happening. I totally get your frustration, Sher, but I don't think that ACOT thinks this is a case of "newer is better." Seems they had some software trouble with the old board and this is hopefully temporary until they can fix it. Better than nothing, but definitely not ideal. I thought I was going to have to do those stupid Captchas every time, too, but if you register as a member of this board, you will only have to do it once and it should keep you logged in.  |

Hi Laura, I think its a great question and I support you in whatever you decide. So far I can ONLY comment as a guest. It won't generate me the activation key email to do a new proper account. so I am at a bit of a stand still figuring this all out. I try and do all the MMC challenges each week and I'd be sad to not make that goal because of the new forum. But the show must go on and I do understand if you choose to do it. I'm TRYING to get with this new program. You don't need to register to read threads, which is how the challenges will be posted. And for the MMC challenges there are specific Gallery spots for them - no need to post entries in a forum thread at all! So MMC would be much simpler to participate in than the monthly challenges at this point in time. |

Laura, I think you should do the MMC's if you want to. I for one will look for them, I am on holidays!
If not, it's understandable, so many girls are frustrated with good reason. Maybe wait a week or two till more are able to come back??
Although, as long as there is a gallery spot, everyone can still enter.
Challenges can still be posted on this new board for everyone to read, and entered as usual with a gallery spot. You do not have to link your entry to the thread at all.
I hope you ladies who are ready to give up will be okay.... Hoping the boards will be back soon!

I will do my best to find, and complete them if you choose to do them. I too am really struggling with this new board. I can not seem to become a member, tired of reading and copying all the codes each time I post. I can not find anything, and I am I guess a creature of habit when it comes to computers. I do not understand them much at all, and it seems to take me forever to get comfortable. This is a bit overwhelming to me.

Something happened to the message board, I am not sure what, but it's not available and it's being worked on. In the meantime, this message board was set up temporarily so we all have a place to chat but it sounds like it could be a while. There was one post that suggested settling in here for now because it could be a week or more before the old boards are up & running. The store and gallery are still in tact. |
