Seriously. I have attachment issues. I feel like if we are all on this Message Board, then we have made a connection through our craft. And so, on some level, we are now friends. It doesn't matter that we've never met, we find out things about each other, we pray for each other, and we are happy when something wonderful happens to the other. Honestly, that makes us better friends than some people that I have known IRL for years.
While I've lingered in a view-only kind of cloud for quite a while, I've only been on the Boards a handful of times. I have found you all are the sweetest, funniest, most inspiring ladies. It is so great to be able to share something I am so passionate about with non-judgmental, friendly people.
Thank you all for making me feel welcome and for being so helpful and supportive to myself and each other. You guys are awesome!!!!

I have made friends from this board who are also now friends IRL. The people on this board are pretty special. And so are you. Notice how you dont stick out like a sore thumb here - just blend in with the rest of us. Glad you are here.

We are a all a bunch of awesome ladies! Some of you I have met in real life and that was amazing and my goal is to meet more of you!!! Hint Brandy and other Texas ladies.I will be in Texas in November!!! I will be in the Houston/Galvaston area on Sat the 15th.

There is nothing weird about it. I remember a few years back when we lost a scrappy friend from here. I cried as if I had known that person my whole life. We share so much here, not just our artistic eye, but when you really look at a person's layouts, you learn their life, their loves. How can you not become attached??? We share hardships, success'es, sometimes really emotional things, that connects on a very deep level if you ask me. I would be lost without the friendships I have formed here, and we welcome newbies!!!

I don't think you are weird at all! I haven't been a part of ACOT very long but the last board I was on from the time it started until the time it ended and most of those girls became great friends...I was lucky enough to be able to meet a few in person over the years but even though I haven't met them all I love them ALL dearly! One of the things I love most about scrapbooking, aside from preserving the memories for my family, is the people it has brought into my life.

That's one of the things I love about this board and all the fabulous ladies (cherries!) here. We share so much --- day to day things, heavy things, fun and games & of course scrapping. I work at home so at times you guys are my coworkers LOL! I think we share so much of our lives through our layouts, of course we are friends. I wish I lived near all of you! our own private scrapping island, perhaps!
