Welcome to Summer Challenge #2- June! I hope everyone’s summer is in full swing! We seem to be getting a slow start weather-wise where I am (western PA.) but maybe it will pick up this month.
I know a great summer activity for many is biking. My kids like to bike, one of my dearest friends is going on a 7-day bike trip in a few weeks. And bikes are EVERYWHERE in scrapbooking right now. Just about every collection I have bought recently has a bike thrown in it somewhere. I’m sure if you start looking carefully through your recently bought collections, one can be found!
Here is a little secret, though…I DO NOT LIKE biking! it’s just not for me! I have, in the past, gone biking on trails, biked with my kids. etc. Just not my cup of tea! I also don’t take lots of biking pictures, one or two pages a year, if that! So, what am I going to do with all the bike embellishments, and papers, that keep showing up in my collection kits???
And now we come to the challenge for June. CREATE A LAYOUT/CARD/ ALTERED ITEM/DIGITAL LAYOUT USING A BICYCLE EMBELLISHMENT ABOUT SOMETHING NOT BICYCLE RELATED! Your bike can be a diecut, sticker, fussy cut from paper, whatever you have in your stash. But the layout/page/ card /digital layout cannot be about biking.(see examples to help if this is unclear) Like last month, if you have any questions regarding this challenge, or anything is unclear, please send me a PM or post a question here! Also, I need to send out a huge sorry to the digi scrappers. When I typed up my challenge last month, I didn’t realize I needed to specifically include digital in my challenge- I guess I just thought you would know you were included. After the month was almost over I was reading some other challenges and realized my mistake. I’m SO SORRY! You are welcome to do my challenges as well, I’m sure there are lots of bike embellishments in digital too. J
Challenge Rules/Prizes-
I am going to enlist my 7-year old son, Logan, to draw 2 names from his trusty fedora. For 2 prizes for this challenges-
