I was doing great until last week, then I crashed and burned. I have been staring at the same layout for 3 nights now and it's getting no where.

I have the opposite problem. Since I had no time whatsoever to scrap for the last month and a half do to my dd's wedding and then babysitting the grandchildren while dd and my sil were away for a few days, I now want to scrap so badly! I have so many ideas floating around in my head! I would love to scrap for a while today but need to do a newsletter for my client. I'll still be doing a layout, just not one for me!

I'm the opposite too. With my parents moving in late April/early May, learning to live with them, stresses from work, finiancial issues, I didn't scrap much during May. NOw, its the end of June. Things are settling down with parents', I'm less stressed work-wise, and my financial issues will be mucho better in another week or two, I am now back to scrapping like a machine!

Opposite...love.love.love. the new summer lines so much - pure happiness; so all the beach pix my gd does are getting scrapped almost as fast as I can get them printed.

is it just me or has this month been a bust for scrapping?  I have zero motivation ....granted I haven't had as much time but I am not even motivated to MAKE time............sigh Carrie, I have felt tis way for a long time.- You ladies are inspiring me to do tings again. Yes, I can relate to zero motivation. |

Yup I hear ya. When I have other projects I tend to neglect scrapping. I need to stop what I'm doing sometimes and just sit down to scrap.

Take a break and do something else so you don't feel burned out.
I'm kind of opposite. I have all kinds of mojo, but unfortunately, I want to do EVERYTHING - not just scrapbooking. So many ideas and not enough time.

I did finally finish a pocket page that was waiting for ONE photo I needed to print....it was a real no brainer..so im not sure it counts..LOL DH has a class tonight so I might block that time out for ME and see if I can get back into a groove...........I think part of my prob also has been my online scrappy buddy, Mickey, has been awol with tons of stuff going on at her house...sniff sniff

When I lose my mojo, I go back through all my albums and usually find layouts that I can tweak with some newer products or whatever. Then I watch some videos, check out some sketches, go back through my pix. But usually, going through my own layouts and/or pix is enough to get me to do one new layout which leads to another and another. And of course, something new always does it for me!

Carrie I am feeling the same way. I have been reorganizing my stash and my room and that is helping. I think I will push through it today and just start a layout. Sometimes if I push myself and get the first one done the rest will follow.On the bright side my scrappy room is looking awesome with all my antique storage and my Longaberger baskets.
