I have now been married to my sweetheart 48 years. It was a very hot June 26th, 1966 and a Sunday. We took our pitiful little VW bug, his mom, teenage brother, and 6 year old sister and drove the 120 miles to Reno, Nevada and got married in the Chapel of the Pines. lol (it is still there BTW). Wow almost half a century - hard for me to believe.
So Happy Anniversary to my darling man, Alan and hope we have lots more years together.

Wow! Happy Anniversary! My parents have been married only 5 more years than you. I love your Reno story. Reno has always been the place to go for quickie weddings where I'm from.
