morning all. Been up for ages and have done almost everything I plan to do today that is not fun. lol I do need to run to the local convenience store for a bag of tortilla chips for the taco salad we are having for supper tonight. I am working on a calendar project for my DGS and going to forego more challenges today to try and finish that. Want to mail it by Tuesday with the 4th of July craft stuff I have put together for him. We will SKYPE later in the afternoon with DD & DGS and both DS's will be here for supper. My wonderful tv show, " Mountain Men" is also on tonight and can hardly wait each week to see how the old guys are doing. lol Weather is fairly warm but not uncomfortably so. Tomorrow I need to get out and finish another yard project. Gosh that yard work is a never ending deal. sigh Have a wonderful and a safe Sunday Yup the yard is nice in the spring and early summer, then I hate it after that. The heat kills me. That's when I have hubby take over. I need to do some projects in the back yard and I better hurry, it's going to get hot here in a couple of weeks. Have fun watching your show. |

Good afternoon! Happy Birthday Beth.
Today has been very sluggish for me. Last night my daughter and I participated in a Blacklight Run- a 5K
and I didn't get to bed until 11:30. Unfortunately I didn't plan well and hadn't put in to get today off, so I had to get up at 3:30 to go to work.
I came home exhausted and went right to bed and stayed there until I finally got up at 2:45.
Dh and the kids went boating, I opted to stay home and sleep. Dh took the dogs in to get groomed, and I need to go pick them up. They just called as I was typing to say they are ready.
My car is a filthy mess inside, so I'll be cleaning it as soon as the dogs get picked up. It is like a rainbow powder bomb went off after my daughter and I got done riding back home in it after all the glow powder on us. I thought I cleaned up the driver's side good before I went to work this morning, but it was dark and walked in to work with powder all over my uniform. UGH. I forgot about the seat belt. After getting out of work in the daylight I saw what a wreck it looks.

Happy birthday, Beth! I tried to quote you so you'd get a notification, but I'm on my kindle and haven't exactly figured it out, not to mention using it with this new board. (Sigh!)
So, it's not morning anymore, but I'm checking in now. After church, we had pizza for lunch, then came home, and I was involved with a "loom party" with my 2 oldest kids. Made 2 bracelets and now working on making some chocolate chip cookies!
