For your handmade cards? I had a bunch someone gave me but I ran out. I was thinking about buying an envelope tool to make my own, but I'm undecided. Do you buy in bulk somewhere?

I have the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board. I make envelopes for my cards and often even match or semi-match the envelope pp to the card like a set. I love making cards/envelopes. The WRMK board is SOOOOOO simple to use. Turns out every time. And they sell a special glue here at ACOT to use for the envelopes. You can let it dry and then lick the flap later just like a regular envelope you buy. Amazing. I would link the product here if I could figure out how. lol

It is worth the money if you make odd sized cards, or if you like to use patterned paper to make your cards. But if all you make are A2 size cards and you like white or pastel envelopes, then a box at staples is easier. However, I will say that it has been very liberating to be able to use my scraps to make all kinds of interesting, different sized cards. And I discovered I really like making square cards. So I am glad I have it.

I use store bought and make my own, it just depends. The ones from the store I buy at walmart, sometimes at an office supply store like office depot. I have both the smaller card envelopes and the large card envelopes, nothing in between.
When I make my own I either cut it out with my cutter or I use the Martha Stewart Score board. It comes with instructions and tools to make envelopes.

So I am glad I have it. Yes that has been my problem in the past, always having to make small cards to fit in the envelopes. Many times I'm trimming edges at the last minute to make it fit. It must be my embellies or thick paper, because I always measure the paper. Thank you.

I buy mine at Walmart...they have ones that fit perfectly if you fold a sheet of 8.5 x 11 cardstock in half for your cards.

Thank you for all the suggestions ladies. I just purchased the WRMK punch from ACOT. It's even on sale for $10 off. Yippee! I love shopping in my pj's (even if it's only 8pm).
