Good afternoon cherries! This is my first time on here really on the new board. I'll surely be glad when the old board is back up and running. We have NOTHING scheduled for today or this weekend and I LOVE it!! We've been SO busy the past month or so, especially the past 2 weeks, that I'm happy to have a quiet low-key weekend. Spent almost 3 hours this morning shopping by myself. Spent a good hour and a half in Hobby Lobby alone! Paid a couple bills and got some party supplies at the Dollar Tree. I'm co-hostessing a retirement party this week for a great guy at work in our department. GOnna be sad to see him go, he's worked there 19 years and has worked for the state almost 37 years. And he's only 60!! It's going to be hunting themed. I'm making a banner that says 'Congrats Jim' on it, plus some little signs for candy dishes etc. Won't take long to get that together. Just need to get the camo-colored CS - I held off this morning, hoping that the CS would be on sale next week at HL maybe. Speaking of HL, they have totally rearranged their Scrapbooking selection at this store and now they carry a TON Of Echo Park paper kits! I'm sooooo excited!! They're carrying a lot more companies and it's fabulous. Anywho, dishwasher is running. Owen is napping. Olivia is eating. I'm looking at my written list of June challenges and I thinnk for the first time in 2 weeks I'm gonna scrap! Soooo excited lol. Happy first day of Summer!! That means we're one day closer to Fall! haha LOL! I have been ready for "fall" weather since April! |

Thank you Barb! Its been a good scrappy day for me! Here is my 3rd layout, and probably my last. Its of Vincent with his great-grandmother on DH's side. They were at Grandpa Joe's Memorial service (Grandpa Joe was Vincent's Mom's Dad).  Remembering Grandpa Joe |

I SCRAPPED today!!! WOOOOO HOOOO! It's been sooooooo long. I did this for Deanna's Theme Challenge, to scrap an outdoor summer activity. I do hope an outdoor June wedding is considered an outdoor summer activity! I took this photo of my grandson at the wedding, standing with his parents and wrapping himself in the folds of dd's wedding gown. It was such a precious shot and being that I didn't have my camera with me I used my iPhone camera to get the shot! (You can't keep a good scrapper down lol!)  Precious Moment |

Hi everyone! I am also trying to get some of the challenges done this weekend. I have had to watch my two grandkids every day this week and next, and haven't gotten any scrapping done because I am too tired by the time I get home!!! And I just realized that I will have them next weekend, too, and then June is OVER! So I have to at least get the challenges I printed photos for done! Sounds like everyone is trying to do the same!! One thing I DO like about this new board (I HATE change---LOL!) is that when you reply, you can SEE the posts. I have a really hard time remembering all I want to say on the other board, yet don't want to fill up a thread with multiple posts. So I do like this one.
